Je vous en dirai plus sur l'origine de ce dessin dans un prochain billet... mais là maintenant tout de suite...
C'est l'heure du petit jeu !!

Comme un examen attentif du dessin pourra vous le démontrer, il y un graffiti sur le mur derrière la tête de Noa. La première personne qui me donnera le texte exact du graffiti en commentant sur ce blog gagnera un bisou, mon admiration éternelle, et un tirage numéroté et signé de ma Belle au Bois Dormant !

Evidemment ce sera beaucoup plus facile pour les gens qui viendront à l'expo demain voir le dessin en vrai...!

As a careful examination of the picture will show you, there is a graffiti on the wall just behind Noa's head. The first person to give me the exact text of the graffiti in a comment on this blog will win a hug, my eternal admiration, and a signed and numbered print of my Sleeping Beauty !

Expo Sky Doll à Paris

Un petit aperçu de mon dessin qui sera exposé à partir de samedi à la Gallery Nana à Paris dans le cadre de l'expo Sky Doll du 13/11 au 24/12 ! Une expo collective en l'honneur de la belle BD de Barbucci et Canepa... avec tout plein de gens qui déchirent du crayon ! Quelques noms pour vous allécher : Kei Acedera, Lilidoll, Benjamin Lacombe, Tony Sandoval, Clément Lefévre, Ciou...!
Le vernissage, c'est samedi 13 novembre à partir de 19h, et j'espère vous y croiser ! ;)

Je vous montrerai l'image en entier vendredi soir, juste avant l'expo (elle est beaucoup plus grande que ça en fait).

A little peep at my artwork that will be shown at Gallery Nana in Paris for the Sky Doll group show, starting this Saturday and ending on December 24th ! A gorgeous group show paying tribute to the comic book by Barbucci and Canepa... where you will see the works of amazing artists such as Kei Acedera, Lilidoll, Benjamin Lacombe, Tony Sandoval, Clément Lefévre, Ciou, just to name a few !
The opening party is on November 13th, starting at 7pm, do come and join us ! ;)

T-shirts Tigre Géant

[EDIT] J'ai été contactée par le fournisseur de Tigre Géant qui a imprimé les t-shirts. Ils ont en fait trouvé le dessin sur un site de graphismes stock, et ne savaient pas qu'il n'était pas libre de droits. Ils ont été tout-à-fait corrects et nous sommes actuellement en train de mettre au point un accord de dédommagement. :)

[EDIT] I've received a phone call from the supplier who made the shirts for Giant Tiger. They got the picture from a stock graphics website and didn't know it was under copyrights. They've been very understanding, and we're drafting a compensation agreement. :)

Je les contacte dans les jours qui viennent, on va bien voir ce que ça va donner...!

This shirt is currently sold at Giant Tiger in Canada. Without my permission, it goes without saying...
I'll get in touch with them in the next couple of days and see what they say about it...!

Croquis du soir, espoir

Comme en ce moment je travaille sur des projets trop tope sicrète dont je ne peux vous parler, voici une gribouille tirée de mon carnet de croquis tout joli acheté pour les vacances (et pas ouvert avant la rentrée - c'est mal...)

As at the moment I'm working on super-secret projects that I can't tell you about, here is a little doodle from the lovely sketchbook I bought during the holidays (and didn't use even once before I got back home - shame on me...!)



Et un essai de colorisation en 10 minutes chrono aux feutres qui fleure bon sa fan de Sambre libérée (ne la laissez pas tomber, c'est pas si facile... la la la...)
En fait j'aime bien la façon dont les feutres se sont mélangés au crayon brun... je ferai probablement d'autres essais dans ce genre !

And a 10-minutes shot at coloring it with markers - it looks a lot like one of my favourite French comics, Sambre...!
I actually like the way the markers blended and merge with the brown pencil... I'll probably make some more experiments with this!

Veuillez m'excuser pour ce flagrant manque de rigueur dans les mises à jour... promis je vous montre de nouvelles choses bientôt !

I apologize for my obvious lack of self-organization in the updates... I promise I'll soon have new stuff to show you!


J'ai une bonne nouvelle pour les lecteurs francophones de ce blog : je viens d'ouvrir une boutique tout en français sur la plateforme ALittleMarket, un nouveau site consacré au fait-main français. En effet je sais que beaucoup de gens ne sont pas à l'aise en anglais, et n'aiment pas acheter sur Etsy où tout est en anglais et où il faut payer en dollars...
Donc, cette boutique est tout en français, et en euros ! Et comme vous êtes de petits veinards, les prix y sont plus intéressants que sur Etsy, où je dois tenir compte dans mes prix des fluctuations du dollar par rapport à l'euro.
Pour les francophones non-Français : pour l'instant je n'affiche que les frais de port vers la France, mais n'hésitez pas à me contacter, j'envoie très volontiers à l'étranger, je rajouterai les frais de port vers votre pays !
J'espère que la boutique vous plaira !
